I first saw these images in W on the plane ride to Paris. Something I don't think I'll ever stop loving are thin fabrics, etheral flowiness and pastel colors, soft cardigans, long natural hair and no make-up. So beautiful.

Gorgeous England. Although there really is just something about France that makes my heart flutter. Probably the best part was seeing Wicked! Now that I've seen it in New York and London I can pretty much die happy. Stonehenge was beautiful as well.

Best trip of my life. England was nice, but I think the Parisian fashion won me over. No pictures unfortunately. ]: But seriously, Everyone must see Paris or France in general at least once before they die. Every couple is completely in love, and PDA isn't disgusting, it's adorable.

My favorite part was Rouen. I felt like I had stepped back 4 centurys, or maybe just into a Harry Potter movie. Plus, it was one of the only places we visited that wasn't completely overrun with tourists, so I got to test out my french language skills. Speaking of which, I'll have to work on those "skills" a bit before I move over there. :]

Well, school has officially ended, as of yesterday. Lately I've been feeling like I'm floating through life, and everything around me is happening so quickly that I don't have much time to think about anything. Life is byzantine, complex. If you're one of the 3 or 4 people who actually read this blog, you know that lately I've only been posting about once or twice a week at best. This is because of a few things:

school has become slightly overwhelming
I have been incredibly uninspired lately
I work almost every day

So for these reasons, I'm deciding to take a short hiatus until after I go to Europe, which is right after school gets out for me. Over the summer I'll have alot more time on my hands, and this way I can jump back in with a fabulous post with tons of pictures from France and England. Until then you all know how to reach me.

The following is supposedly an actual question
given on the University of Washington chemistry
mid-term exam. The answer by one student
was so“profound” that the professor shared it
with colleagues, via the Internet,which is, of

Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs
using Boyle’s Law (gascools when it expands and
heats when it is compressed) or some variant.One
student, however, wrote the following:

First, we need to know how the mass of Hell is
changing in time. So we need to know the rate at
which souls are moving into Hell and the rate at
which they are leaving. I think that we can safely
assume that once a soul gets to Hell, it will not leave.
Therefore, no souls are leaving.

As for how many souls are entering Hell, let’s look at
the different Religions that exist in the world today.
Most of these religions state that if you are not a
member of their religion, you will go to Hell. Since there
is more than one of these religions and since people do
not belong to more than one religion, we can project
that all souls go to Hell. With birth and death rates as
they are, we can expect the number of souls in Hell
to increase exponentially.

Now, we look at the rate of change of the volume in
Hell because Boyle’s Law states that in order for the
temperature and pressure in Hell to stay the same,
the volume of Hell hasto expand proportionately as souls
are added.This gives two possibilities:

1. If Hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at
which souls enterHell, then the temperature and pressure
in Hell will increase until all Hell breaks loose.
2. If Hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase
of souls inHell, then the temperature and pressure will
drop until Hell freezes over.

So which is it?

We accept the postulate given to me by Teresa during my
Freshman yearthat, “it will be a cold day in Hell before I sleep
with you”, and takeinto account the fact that I slept with
her last night, then number 2 mustbe true, and thus I am sure
that Hell is exothermic and has already frozen over.The
corollary of this theory is that since Hell has frozen over,
it follows that it is not accepting any more souls and
is therefore, extinct…leavingonly Heaven thereby proving
the existence of a divine being which explainswhy, last night,
Teresa kept shouting “Oh my God.”

I often wonder/think about whether or not I am creative enough, imaginitive enough, smart enough, good enough. I've only ever felt talented in the field of writing, but not talented enough to put it to use. I want to leave Utah so badly and as soon as possible, but I worry that I can't get the grades I need to go anywhere but USU. Which is where my parents want me to go initially since they both work there. I feel stifled where I am. I want to surround myself with diversity and creativity. I feel like I've fried my brain to the point of uselessness. I feel talentless. I feel inadequate. I feel like everyone around me wants me to be something different. Here I am too strange, not religious enough, too different. I am in the wrong for not believing in god, for having smoked weed, etc etc etc. Ahhhhhsodijdsigjrk.

In addition to possessing a unique kind of beauty, Sam has the cutest style with tons of layers and tights and thigh-highs. Her photo quality is lovely too. Okay, here's the deal. I couldn't even force myself through the first Twilight book, much less the second or third, or even stay awake during the movie. However I love Kristen Stewart as an actress and think she is quite talented.

Apparently this song "(I Wanna Shimmy Like My) Sister Kate" was written in the early twentieth century. This version is by the Ditty Bops, and I'm completely obsessed.

Sorry for the weekend hiatus, I've been super busy/sicky icky! ]:

My mother bought these vintage Doc Martens for me when I was 12. Unfortunately this was before my flair for fabulous clothing had developed (at least publicly), and they were given away. I can't tell you how much I wish I had them now!

When I am reunited with my crappy digital camera at my Faja's house, I shall take pictures of my new uniform: Mom's Grateful Dead concert tees + leggings.

I must say I'm thrilled that the leggings/tights trend is still running its course. So so comfy, adorable and versatile. I live in my leggings. Thank god for American Apparel! The leggings with the geometric shapes remind me of MIA. I'll have to do a post on her upcoming line..

This girl has quite the knack for repetetive songs that get stuck in your head; I've had this gem on constant repeat in my brain since I saw it on 20/20 on friday. I've got to give Britney some credit for coming up with some good beats. Deep down underneath my cynical exterior I'm happy Britney Spears has finally made a comeback. [:

I've been wanting to start a blog for some time, just to have a chance to post the fun things that I find and have my say on everything going on in fashion.

A popular topic on the blogging circuit in the past few days has been the Jeremy Scott spring/summer 09 show. I have to say that Jeremy Scott has been my favorite show in Paris so far! I absolutely LOVE the Marie Antoinette style hair and Madonna music, and there was a good choice of models as well. I spotted both Eikeline Stange and Siri Tollerod on the runway.
